Fishing boat in Ha Long Bay

It's a jungle out there.

We introduced Sarah to the backyard today and the playhouse. We encountered a garden spider, at least it's one that I've always referred to as a garden spider, a tiny frog inside the playhouse and a wasp inside the playhouse. Sarah enjoyed swinging with her brother and going down the slide. We also took a short walk down our neighborhood road to visit a neighbor, but she wasn't home. Sarah is becoming a little more comfortable with the dogs, but not at all times and especially not with Skippy. As you can see from the photo though, she was loving on Jack around 3 a.m. this morning.
Sarah giving Jack some love around 3 a.m. this morning. Jack's just trying to figure out why these crazy people are always up all night now.
Big brother gives little sis a push.
Weeeeeeeee, this is fun.
See ba, I can do it all by myself.

The slide is a lot of fun too.
Look out ground, here I come.
Get off my swing, anh.

The frog poses for a quick photo or two.
The wasp crawling around above the bird nest.
Just too sweet.

The spider next to the deck.

Going down the slide by herself.
Isaac helping to keep Skippy away from his little sister so she can swing in peace.

You call that a garden spider. That thing is HUGE! I had never seen a spider like that until about three weeks ago and haven't again until now. Holy Cow, they are big. Love how the kids are getting along so well and how Sarah obviously is loving her new family and life.
