Just received more photos of Sarah.

This is great. It's been less than 3 weeks since we received the last photos of Sarah and we got some more today. I sure hope Sarah is smiling when we finally make it over to pick her up. ;-)

I hope this guy doesn't have children.

USCIS has our I-600!

I just checked my email before going to bed and we had received an email from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services in Ho Chi Minh City. It's their standard form letter letting us know they have received our I-600 form, petition to classify orphan as an immediate relative. This is the paperwork that must be processed to obtain Sarah's visa to come into the U.S., and must be approved before we can travel to pick her up. USCIS states most determinations will be completed in 60 working days. We're obviously hoping it doesn't take that long.

We received a few new photos tonight!

It's always good to receive more photos of Sarah. Makes the wait a little easier.

Sarah's room is coming along.

While we still have some finishing touches to add to Sarah's room, mostly items we want to put on the walls, it's far enough along to post some photos.
